In various textile processes like scouring, desizing, dyeing etc. Acrylate polymers are widely used along with phosphonates to offer key benefits like :
We provide speciality carboxylates which are optimized in performance to provide maximum cost advantage to the textile auxiliary formulators.
Synonyms : Polyacrylic Acid Sodium Salt (PAAS) 50%, Polyacrylate sodium, Sodium polyacrylate, aqueous dispersants, Carboxylate polymer, Copolymer of Maleic and Acrylic Acid (MA/AA), Acrylic acid maleic anhydride copolymer, dispersants, maleic multipolymer
These polymers are acrylic acid/maleic acid (AA/MA) copolymers available in different molecular weights such as 3000, 70000, in partially neutralized form. These are characterized for dispersing applications. Despite their higher molecular weight, they have a narrow molecular weight distribution. These polymers are phosphate free.
AA/MA copolymers can used in pretreatment, dying process, washing off process and scouring process as dye dispersant, washing off agent, leveling agent and dye bath conditioner in reactive dying. These can also work as an anti-redeposition aid and sequestering and whiteness-maintaining agents.

These polymers are low molecular weight acrylic acid homopolymers available in different molecular weights such as 2000, 4000, and 4500. These acrylic acid homopolymers are available in acidic form with partial neutralization using sodium hydroxide. These polymers are free from any type of phosphate or phosphonates and do not contain any restrictive additives for textile applications.
These polymers can be used in textile formulations for its various functions like dispersing, anti re-deposition & Chelation of Ca++ & Mg++. These polymers can be incorporated in scouring, de-sizing & washing off formulations. AA Homopolymers shows excellent compatibility & synergism when used with phosphonates like HEDP for chelation of Ca++ & Mg++.
Due to their high iron and zinc stabilization properties, they can also be used as iron oxide and zinc stabilizers. These polymers can also be used as phosphate scale inhibitors in various water-based systems.

These polymers are low molecular weight carboxylate-based dispersants. They consist of two types of monomer functionalities, a strongly anionic sulphonated group and a weakly anionic carboxylate group. Due to this, the polymers show very good complexing and chelation properties towards calcium, magnesium, and other heavy metal ions which tend to interfere in textile processes such as scouring, desizing, and dyeing. Due to their low molecular weight and narrow distribution, these polymers show very good stability in hard water.
This polymer can be used in various textile formulations for different key functions. The polymer improves the performance of scouring and desizing formulations the through its antiredeposition effects. Its works as a dying aid and dye dispersants throght its dispersing properties and prevents hardness ions (Ca++, Mg++) interference to its sequestration and inhibition properties. This polymer can be used in peroxide stabilization and for improvement of bleaching performance as the product complexes the iron in bleaching process.
