This is a low molecular weight carboxylate polymer. This polymer is characterized by two different functionalities i.e. Moderate anionic and highly anionic. The moderately anionic group provides excellent dispersant of particles like bentonite etc. and the highly anionic group provides better dispersion stability at high temperature and high salinity level. This polymer is very effective maintaining the rheology of mud even at high solids and high-density level. Its juridistically selected specialty monomers provide the polymer a unique ability to work over different mud types and other factors like pH etc. so also it takes cares of heavy metals and iron, which destabilizes the dispersants.
